Can You Braise On A Traeger? [1-Minute Read]

Thinking about buying a Traeger? Want to know what they’re capable of? Wondering if you can braise on a Traeger?

Here’s what I can tell you from experience:

You can indeed braise with a Traeger. In fact, Traeger grills function kind of like ovens do. The heat produced by the burning pellets is partially trapped inside the cooking chamber. This allows the heat to radiate inside your Traeger grill. Moreover, Traeger grills are renowned for precise temperature controls and their ability to cook at low temperatures for long periods. This allows the user to maintain a constant, targeted, low temperature inside the grill and braise a variety of meats and vegetables.
